The Olota of Ota, His Majesty, Oba Professor Adeyemi AbduKabir Obalanlege, who is the paramount Ota, has congratulated Prince Femi Adetunji Fadina on his recent emergence as the President of the Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (ATPN).
In his goodwill message, His Majesty lauded Fadina’s exemplary dedication and invaluable contributions to Nigeria’s tourism and hospitality sector over the years. Kabiyesi described his new position as a well-deserved recognition of his steadfast commitment, vision, and impactful leadership in advancing the industry.
The Olota further emphasised the significance of this appointment, expressing optimism that Fadina’s wealth of experience and innovative ideas would chart a new course for the tourism sector’s growth and sustainability.
His Majesty also called on all tourism practitioners, stakeholders, and policy makers to rally behind Fadina, ensuring his tenure is marked by collaboration, development, and success.
This is as he noted, “Prince Fadina’s emergence is not just a win for the ATPN but for the entire tourism community in Nigeria. His passion for excellence and progress will undoubtedly lead to transformative outcomes for the industry.’’
He wished Fadina a successful and impactful tenure while reaffirming Ottaland’s commitment to fostering cultural and tourism-based partnerships that contribute to Nigeria’s growth and global reputation.
The newly elected President of ATPN is the Chairman and Managing Director of Dinat Consulting and Dinat Vocational Institute, which is dedicated to the training of personnel in tourism, hospitality, leadership and entrepreneurship among others.
He is also the Chairman of Awori Tourism, a body committed to the development and promotion of Aworiland tourism. One of the flagship products of the body is Awori Cultural Day Festival.
