Ethiopian Ministry of Tourism partners Africa Celebrates 2025

Ahead of the much-anticipated Africa Celebrates 2025, the event has received endorsement from Ethiopia, with the country’s Ministry of Tourism, signing a partnership deal with the organisers of the annual event, Legendary Gold Limited and its Ethiopian event partner, Afronova.

In a press statement, the organisers noted, ‘‘we are honoured to announce the strategic partnership between the Ministry of Tourism of the Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Africa Celebrates.’’

The signing ceremony was held at the office of the Ministry, with Dr Endegena Abebe, Minister of State of the Ministry and Lexy Mojo-Eyes, President/CEO of Africa Celebrates signing the dotted lines to formalised the partnership.

In attendance were also Ambassadors Nasir Aminu and Willy Nyamitwe, Ambassadors of Nigeria and Burundi to Ethiopia respectively, Tesfaye Gebremichael, Executive Director of Afronova, alongside top officials of the Ministry.

Africa Celebrates 2025 is scheduled to hold between November 4 and 9, 2025, at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The annual event, which celebrates the beauty of Africa, ranging from its arts, culture, music, cuisines, fashion and others enjoys the collaboration of the African Union Commission, UNECA, Embassies of Nigeria, Burundi and Cote d’Ivoire in Ethiopia, the US Mission to the African Union, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia alongside DCT Entertainment, Ethiopian Airlines (official Airlines) and Skylight hotel (official hotel).
